About Vince

Vince Lambert currently serves the body of Christ as a speaker, teacher, Chaplain, counselor, and author. His mission is to assist leaders in developing to their fullest potential and fulfilling their God given calling. He preaches the gospel in churches and conferences to equip and edify the body of Christ. 

Before its merger with Chicago Embassy Church, he served as Senior Pastor of River Oaks Community Church in South Holland, IL. Pastor Vince has over 29 years’ experience in local church leadership in the roles of Senior Pastor, Associate Pastor, Speaker, and Church Planter. In addition, he has served as an adjunct faculty member at Moody Bible Institute, Trinity International University, North Park University (MBA program), Northwest University, North Central University, and at Keller Graduate School of Management.  

Pastor Vince also serves as a Chaplain with the Illinois Army National Guard where he has pastoral responsibility for several hundred soldiers and their families. In 2020, he deployed to the nation of Ukraine in support of the European Deterrence Initiative. One of his other responsibilities as a Chaplain is to plan, coordinate and facilitate relationship conferences (married and single) for military personnel. His educational background includes a BS in Finance from Chicago State University, an MBA from North Park University, a Master of Religion and Urban Ministry from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School, a Master of Human Services Counseling (Marriage & Family) from Liberty University and he is in the final stages of a Doctor of Ministry (DMin) from the Trinity Theological Seminary in Pastoral Care and Counseling. He previously spent over 20 years in the business world in financial services, investments, and bank management. 
One of his passions is the discipleship of men. Pastor Vince began a ministry of men’s discipleship that he calls “The Mancave.” It brings men together for study and encouragement for them to follow the God given purpose for their lives. 

Pastor Vince currently partners with Pastors and churches to assist churches in developing their congregations and teams. He has also provided training both locally and internationally for church and ministry leaders. His other training includes 4 units of clinical pastoral education (CPE) and certifications as a PREP marriage facilitator, Family Wellness, Prepare/Enrich marital assessment, Marriage LINKS, Gottman Institute's 7 Principles for Making Marriage Work, Training in Emotional Intelligence, PICK A Partner singles training and additional training in pastoral counseling. He is also a certified mental health coach with the American Association of Christian Counselors and is also a certified trainer in ASIST suicide intervention. He is also the author of the book "30 Days Ablaze," a devotional book to assist believers who are seeking a deeper daily relationship with Christ. 

Pastor Vince has been married to LaTonia for 29 years. They have been blessed with 2 sons Joshua, and John.
